New Runners

Whether you are completely new to running or returning to running, we’ve all been there.  Everyone started somewhere.  We are all faster than someone and slower than someone else.  The question is whether you are there when the group leaves the parking lot, when the race begins.  The Conway Running Club exists to provide opportunities for people to run and improve their running.  We invite you to join us if you want to run, meet some great people and improve your fitness and possibly your outlook on life.

We’ll do what we can to make you welcome, but you have to take the first step.  There are many resources in Conway to venture into the sport of running and we’ve listed the ones we know to the right.  If you know more, please let us know

The best mornings to join us are Tuesday and Thursday as these are the days with the most people and the most varied paces.  You might find one of the other groups in Conway or a friend as the best place to start.  So whether you start with us or join us after you’ve started, we hope you’ll come and introduce yourself.  We run regularly and race regularly because it helps us set goals and improve our fitness and abilities. 

Whatever you do, get started and join the Conway Running Club so we can stay in touch and so you can give back to the running community.  And remember, the “best” activity is the one that you enjoy and can stick with for a lifetime.
